A concert followed by a silent film with live accompaniment! Max Keenlyside recently completed an extensive restoration of City Cinema’s 100‑year‑old piano. To showcase the magnificent results he will perform a concert on the newly revitalized instrument. His performance will be followed by a screening of Ernst Lubitsch’s The Oyster Princess, a German farce satirizing the American 'nouveau riche' through the story of a millionaire’s spoiled daughter and her chaotic path to marriage. Max will improvise a live soundtrack.
